Music

At Rye Community Primary School, the Music curriculum is delivered using the Charanga Music scheme to align with the EYFS framework and the national curriculum. Its aim is to ensure that Music lessons are an enjoyable experience for children. The Charanga scheme aims to help children feel musical and develop a lifelong love of music by focusing on developing skills, knowledge and understanding to become confident performers, composers and listeners. The curriculum also introduces children to music from around the world and across generations, teaching them to respect and appreciate the music of all traditions and communities.
