Clownfish and Seahorses thoroughly enjoyed their visit from the local firefighters earlier this week. The children got to use the firefighters special equipment and try on their uniform. They also learnt about the role of a firefighter.

The highlight of the visit was when they got to use the firefighters hose and sit in the fire engine.

 

In the afternoon Clownfish and Seahorses produced some beautiful writing on what makes a firefighter a superhero.

 

We think we have a few future firefighters in Year 1.
