We were very lucky to welcome Charlie Cobb into school as part of the Rye Festival.  Charlie worked with our Year 5 classes and helped them to produce some amazing artwork.  The children worked in a group, then stood back to look at their creation and discuss what they could do to improve it.

Kamiran from Jellyfish explained that they had learnt that it doesn’t matter what the drawing you are doing looks like, because you don’t have to show anyone if you don’t like.  Also, it is better to do scribbles than try to draw actual shapes as children have a better imagination than adults.  You can never go wrong with your painting, it’s all about having fun!
