At Rye Community Primary School, the Design and Technology curriculum is designed to meet the aims of the EYFS framework and the national curriculum. Its primary intent is for all children to produce creative and imaginative work, with DT providing a real-life context for learning. The curriculum is inspired by engineers, designers, chefs and architects, enabling children to create a range of structures, mechanisms, textiles, electrical systems and food products with real-life purposes.
