Minnows and Sardines had a surprise visitor on Tuesday 20th October when Biscuit the Bengal Eagle Owl came into school.

He went into both classes with his owners and the children were able find out more about what he eats, how far he can fly, why owls use their talons to catch their prey and where their ears are!

Bengal Eagle Owls originate from India and Asia, and would normally live on the side of mountains making a nest in the rocks.

The children were absolutely enthralled when they waved goodbye to Biscuit at the end of his visit and he stretched his wings to wave back!
